VIP Unplugged Experience — Acoustic Music Up Close

BRANSON, Mo. — June 2026 — Have you noticed how digital the world has become? The music industry is bright lights, booming sound systems, lightning-fast transitions, big dance numbers, fast-paced graphics, and snazzy costumes. Even Branson live music is supercharged with technology.

We are proud of the big production show we put on each day at The Dutton Family Theater, and yet all of those elements that make the show modern and award-winning also remove us from feeling that direct connection with our audience. We can barely even see you with the spotlight in our eyes.

For a limited time this year, as we celebrate 30 years in Branson and the 250th anniversary of our country, we have decided to offer something truly unique. Beginning June 19, we will host a one-hour live music event unlike anything available in the industry.

The VIP Unplugged Experience

The VIP Unplugged experience features just seven members of the Dutton family playing acoustic and truly unplugged music. We will entertain you from the floor of the theater with no stage lights, no microphones, and none of the electronic elements that the music industry has come to rely on.

It will just be our voices and our instruments a few feet away. We will play you some songs, tell you some stories, answer your questions, and show a rare behind-the-scenes glimpse of Branson's most nationally recognized entertainment family.

Hold a banjo in your hands, see the tiny violins we grew up playing, and hear music like it used to be enjoyed — just a family, in our shared home, playing for some friends.
